Capacity Building Training of BCSM Executive Committee 2019
On the 8th March 2019, a day program of Capacity building was held at the CBCB centre for BCSM Executive Committee and was organised by BCSM EC and attended by 6 members out of 7 members. The training was facilitated by the IMCS AP coordinator William Nokrek and former BCSM general Secretary Shoshi Sylvester Peris. The sessions conducted by William Nokrek were on the methodology of BCSM, local fund raising and social issue analysis. Through the SWOT analysis, what are the challenges faced by BCSM been identified and focus attention is given on this matter.
Shoshi Sylvester Peris conducted a session on BCSM EC team activities and how to build and develop a relationship between the local unit and diocese level BCSM.
Both the alumni of BCSM shared their experiences and helped the new Executive committee develop their capacity. In this one-day program, the new Executive Committee gains lots of ideas on how to manage and conduct their activities smoothly during their tenure.
The training was attended by Bishop Subrata Lawrence Howlader, the CSC Chairperson, Episcopal commission for youth to give a morale boost for the committee.
