Photosynthesis by BCSM
‘Photosynthesis’ is a photography competition organized by the Executive Committee of BCSM and supported by IMCS Asia Pacific aiming to create awareness for the sustainability of our environment. Through the competition, it is highly objectified to the point that members would bring out the injustice happening towards the environment and how to save it. The Competition is based on World Environment Day 2020.
For whom:
The Competition is designed solely for the present and former members of BCSM from 8 dioceses and 26 units. We would like to keep the competition as a part of an awareness campaign for our environment.

• 3R (Reduce, Reuse and Recycle)
• Regular Lifestyle
Instructions:
1. Both Mobile and DSLR photography would be accepted. Each participant can submit 3 photographs at best.
2. A proper caption is needed for each photo. All the photos must be sent under one email. And for 2/3 photographs give each photo a caption and write in detail about topic it follows in the mail body.
3. Send your photography at bcsmbd@gmail.com. Please send the Email with a proper subject like as follows PHOTOSYNTHESIS 2020_NAME_Contact Number_Unit. Example: 2020_ABC_01xxxxxxxx_XYZ.
4. After compiling all the photos together, we would be uploading them from our Facebook Page.
5. The winners would be determined based on the number of likes, comments, and shares in the post and also marks obtained from judges.
6. Each participant would be given a certificate.
7. The deadline for submitting the photos would be on 2nd June 2020 (11.59 pm).
We believe every artwork speaks for itself and everyone has their definition for the creation they have done. For this reason, we won’t determine the winner based on any specific judges only. Every person on the open Facebook platform would be our judge, so the likes, comments, and shares will also play a role to determine the winners.
