In celebration of World Water Day on March 22, 2024, the IMCS AP-Laudato Si’ Commission hosted a thought-provoking webinar titled “Water for Peace.” This timely event aimed to shine a spotlight on the vital importance of water, presenting current data on the state of water on our planet, its significance for humanity, and the challenges it faces.
The webinar served as a platform to raise awareness about the critical need to preserve clean water and inspired participants to take meaningful action to safeguard our planet. One of its key objectives was to empower and motivate young people to become proactive stewards of the Earth, emphasizing their pivotal role in ensuring a sustainable future.
