imcsap.org – In January 2023, IMCS AP conducted a CLAP Workshop on Critical Leadership from 20th January to 4th February which was attended by about 55 participants from Sri Lanka, Indonesia, India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Kenya, Malaysia, Ghana, Burundi, and Philippines. The workshop was conducted into 2 batches with the facilitator, Mr.Wisnu Wardhono.
The purpose of the workshop was to increase student leaders’ awareness of being a good leader. Being a good leader who will be an example for the members. The facilitator taught about the exact meaning of being a leader, to developing a leader within you, being empowered and starting to empower others. Moreover, the cases of lack of critical leadership were shown to participants, which really happened in Asian countries.
At the end of the workshop, participants shared their plan of actions within their own community and country. It is important to be a humble leader in leading the community and organization to lead by heart.
