Catholic Student leaders from all the parts of the island nation of Taiwan came together to reunite and reflect on their mission and faith. Student leaders shared the following reflections during the camp.
• When facing the difficulties of lacking new members, we reflect back to our identity and call of being a young Catholic.
• We are called for building a relationship with people, those who are lost in their faith, those who are vulnerable and poor. And we are willing to sacrifice our time and our life for doing so.
• While carrying out our mission, a leader should never forget, the more we understand and accept ourselves, the closer we are to God and to our companions.
Student leaders shared each other’s realities in their own contexts and discussed how they can continue their actions for poor in regional levels, in a way that they all can take part in the Jesus’ universal project of fulfilling justice and peace.
