IMCSAP- The CLAP workshop has been very successful in the past four years, producing excellent young leaders at the local, national, and regional levels. The impactful follow-up program was conducted at the grassroots level to empower more young leaders and positively impact society.

In 2024, after the recommendation of national leaders during the Asia Pacific Council (APC) in Thailand in June 2023 to continue the initiatives, IMCS AP decided to continue the workshop. This year, they will organize both virtual workshops at the regional level and in-person workshops at the country level.

In January, in collaboration with Friends of Peace and Social Justice, the IMCS AP organized the online CLAP workshop on Peace and Social Justice, which took place over four days, twice a week, every Friday and Saturday. The workshop was successful, with about 32 participants from Sri Lanka, India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Timor Leste, the Philippines, Uganda and Kenya.

During this process, the facilitator, Atty Kins Appearece from the Friends of Peace and Justice, encouraged the participants to look deeply at themselves and reflect on their peace and relationship with peers, small communities, and larger ones. The participants connected through their experiences building peace and how to maintain a peaceful daily life.

The sessions began with the understanding of peace.
