As we Joyfully celebrate the birth of Christ, we missed the vision what the birth of Christ entails to all of us. In the journey of his birth, we see, how pregnant Mary and Joseph are looking for a place to stay, the search of the three wise men for the humble birth, and announce of joy, hope and peace to the Shepheard’s. Each year Christmas come and pass by glimpse of ray of hope of a better world of just, peace and joy, yet we see the world plunged with crisis and the year of 2018, we see crisis of migration caused by war, civil unrest, genocide, climate change which forcefully flee people and right-wing political crisis such, Yemen war, Brexit and Islamophobic Trump.
With this IMCS AP reflecting its role and responsibilities of it, in bringing the Hope, Justice, Joy and Peace of Christmas together with those who are shut by the borders and scrutiny of security in the name of terrorism. Together as students and our struggle in this globalised world which takes away the voice of the young, let us the bring light and liberty to the marginalised and oppressed. Let us remember the pregnant women, women & children and men who are taking a life threating journey of migration- refugee & migrants.
“All of us are Inn Keepers, who have to decide if we open it to the marginalised or chase them away”
Wishing everyone a Blessed Christmas and Joyful Liberated New Year 2019 with a vision of Justice and Peace.
