On 6 June 2025, the IMCS Pax Romana International Team held a fruitful and inspiring meeting at the Dicastery for Promoting Integral Human Development, welcomed by Cardinal Michael Czerny, Prefect of the Dicastery, along with members of the Listening and Dialogue Section and regional representatives.
The IMCS delegation included Mr. William Nokrek (President), Ms. Fasika Lachore Laba (Secretary General), Fr. Jojo M. Fung, SJ (International Chaplain), Ms. Bertha Samponu (Asia-Pacific Coordinator), and Mr. Anselmo Lee (Adviser to the International Team).
The meeting offered a meaningful space for dialogue, where both parties reaffirmed their shared commitment to youth engagement, integral human development, and synodal listening. Discussions also focused on strengthening the collaboration between Catholic student movements and the Church’s mission to accompany the poor, care for creation, and uphold human dignity.
This encounter served as a powerful reminder of the Church’s call to walk with young people as active agents of transformation in today’s world.
