On June 5, 2025, in celebration of World Environment Day, IMCS Pax Romana and IYTC hosted a dynamic and inspiring youth-led webinar under the global theme “Combating Plastic Pollution.”
The session brought together young leaders, environmental advocates, and Indigenous youth from various regions—including Africa, Latin America, and Asia—to exchange insights and experiences on the environmental crisis. Panelists reflected on:
The webinar was not only a space for learning and sharing, but also a call to action. Participants discussed ecological justice through the lens of Laudato Si’, Indigenous knowledge, and youth organizing. The event concluded with practical conversations around funding strategies for youth-led campaigns and the importance of empowering young people to lead local environmental initiatives.
