IMCSAP – On 29 January 2024, the Asia Pacific coordinator, Ms Bertha Samponu, visited the All Indian Catholic University Federation (AICUF) at St Xavier College, Kolkata. The chaplain and student coordinator organized meetings with the national chaplain. During the visit, the coordinator met with 25 student representatives from the All Indian Catholic University Federation (AICUF) in St Xavier College, Calcutta.
The coordinator described the IMCS program and highlighted the importance of youth participation, especially for preserving the environment, and that we must be responsible for spreading awareness.
The students learned how the AICUF and IMCS connect with others and raise awareness of the issues their communities face. This AICUF unit visit was the first to involve AICUF National Chaplains and the Unit Chaplains.
We look excitedly at the prospect of AICUF students’ future contribution to building a peaceful, just, inclusive, and greener world.
