[13-19 February] World Forum on Theology and Liberation (WFTL) in Godawari, Kathmandu, Nepal.
This forum give the youth an opporunity to engage in discussion with the theme of Politics and Religion from the Perspective of Liberation and Care.
Sessions, discussions, and reflections from this forum created space for thinking about faith practices and the relationship between religions and politics to promote justice and well-being, especially in the local and regional context. Discussions occurred regarding human rights issues, environmental justice, indigenous peoples, gender, youth, and intergenerational relations.
IMCS’s participants could listen, learn about, and discuss the students’ movement in Asian countries, its engagements and contributions during the forum.
We are glad to have met such incredible people during the program, built connections and look forward to our participation and contribution in the future!
